What Would You Do If You Bumped into Somebody You Were Trying To Forget?

In Paradise Hills Summer, Faith Alexander accidentally learns the answer to the question she never thought to ask?

Faith moved to Paradise Hills to forget the fiancé that broke up with her the week before their wedding. She was doing a pretty good job…until her friends set her up on a blind date with him

Faith’s eyes crossed over the rows of wooden tables decorated with red, white, and blue carnation centerpieces to the family table in the back corner. She froze and blinked to push away what she thought she saw. What were the odds that her ex-fiancé, looking better than she remembered, would be at the table she assumed was reserved for her friends?

The first thing that came to her mind was this had to be a mistake. Another brief thought flickered through her mind. A nightmare. She was having a nightmare.

Months ago, she watched a documentary on dream therapy. The narrator said the trick to controlling a dream was to remind yourself that the situation was a figment of your imagination.

Faith closed her eyes. With all her heart she told herself, “This is a dream,” she whispered. “It is nerves. Holly and Liam’s wedding is bringing my hidden issues to the surface.” Her heart jumped into her throat, and Faith did what any sane person would do. She turned to run.

….that’s it for now. Be on the lookout for another snippet later this week. If you want to get the rest of the story sooner. It is available for download on Kindle Unlimited at Amazon.com
