Colored with delighted squeals, the air around him sparkled.

Small children’s arms and legs, tightened around his calves, tested his balance. His arms raised to shoulder level, and his voice had thinned to adjust to the demands on his balance.  He walked with thick calculated steps across the room until one, then the other child slipped to the carpeted floor. 

They rushed into his legs and gripped his waist. He returned the hug. Contented by the assurance of his affection for him, they ran off to their next adventure. 

She kissed their imagined dinosaur turned back into man.
