100 Word Love Story

She curled her hands into a fist to stir the angry energy she so deserved. It was only right. He promised they’d go out for a night on the town. Instead, he, fully reclined on the couch with his shoes on, snored softly; looking like it was a peaceful Sunday afternoon.

 Then an image of the time he gave her the last of the Hershey’s syrup for chocolate milk came to mind.

ā€œOh well,ā€ she sighed as she slipped off the right red shoe then the left. Shorter by two inches she bent down to pick them up. Then she kissed him ever so gently on the forehead.
