And so I disregarded the warning on the package and stopped without consulting my physician. Clearly the insanity plea would work. Insanity does not preclude one from experiencing the first law of physics: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
I like to make people laugh and then say, "hmmm." If I have done that then I have successfully changed the way you have seen the world.
This weekend I received the news. My sister wanted to bring the whole family and visit over the summer. This would include my sister who has spent her adult life in the fast moving corporate world; her boyfriend the Iron man athlete and international traveler; and three 20 […]
In the absence of the distracting 500 channels of things I’ll never see, this experience has me wondering: is this an unintentional yet blaring statement on the necessity of the new media. I was so excited to get those presents into the hands of the people I love that I obliviously stepped from the top step to the pavement. The crack in my right foot and the lightning rushing through my left knee brought thunder to my head. I wanted to cry. That’s when vanity spoke up.
